FOLSOM, CA – July 9, 2025 ConferenceDirect is proud to announce the appointment of Madonna Deek as its new Director of Business Development. In this key role, Madonna will lead the Preferred Vendor Program and support customer engagement through Conference Management renewals, enhancing the company’s ability to deliver strategic value to partners and clients alike.

Madonna brings over 30 years of hospitality and event industry experience, with a career that has spanned executive recruitment, corporate consulting, convention and visitor bureau leadership, and hotel sales. She is known for her strategic thinking, relationship building, and consistent track record of driving measurable success.

Before joining ConferenceDirect, Madonna led her own consulting business, managing a diverse portfolio of corporate events. Prior to that, she helped launch the Los Angeles satellite office for SearchWide Executive Recruiting, where she boosted market share and increased brand visibility. Her deep roots in the hospitality industry include senior roles with LA INC., The Convention & Visitors Bureau, where she oversaw citywide conventions and high-profile client events while establishing key public-private partnerships with organizations like Universal Studios Hollywood and the LA Convention Center.

Madonna’s early career includes sales positions with Marriott Hotels, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where she consistently exceeded goals and contributed to revenue growth.
