Sustainability & Green Meetings
Sustainability is a major focus at ConferenceDirect. We have implemented green meetings protocols into our internal events. We have a specialized team of our conference managers that have been certified via the Events Industry Council in their Sustainable Events Program Certificate, SEPC. We have partners that can assist in also tracking of your carbon footprint and also purchase carbon offsets to do a full carbon neutral event.
Human Trafficking Awareness
ConferenceDirect has partnered with ECPAT-USA and signed the Tourism Child-Protection Code of Conduct. As a socially responsible company, ConferenceDirect is committed to combatting commercial sexual exploitation of children. The company stands firm in our resolve to create awareness of sex trafficking of children by utilizing our professional resources in the travel and tourism industry. Additionally, the Human Trafficking Committee of ConferenceDirect meets monthly to discuss opportunities to inform and engage our Associates, Partners and Customers.

ConferenceDirect’s Veteran resource group operates with the core values of integrity, community, commitment, advocacy, respect and excellence. We engage with active duty, reservist, veterans, their families, survivors and other allies to increase representation, recruitment and retention of veterans both within ConferenceDirect, but also with our industry as a whole.
